Sunday School
Sunday School begins on Sunday at 9:00 AM with classes from birth through adulthood. The literature is rich in Bible and life teaching with wonderful teachers who share Jesus' love with their classes. Each teacher is selected by much prayer and voted on by the congregation. Classes participate in mission projects, community outreach, and fellowship activities, such as the one below.
Youth and Children's Ministries
The children's ministry program at Sulphur Springs spreads from preschool through elementary and includes such activities as Mission Friends, RA, and GA mission groups that meet regularly on Wednesday nights. Our youth program is led by Youth/Associate Pastor James Safrit and includes Middle and High school age groups that meet on Wednesday nights also. We have children’s and a youth praise group. Sonshine Puppets
The SonShine Puppet Ministry from Sulphur Springs Baptist Church is a youth and adult ministry team. They began the puppet ministry on January 1st, 2011, and God has blessed the team in many ways, performing at community events, nearby churches, and special events at SSBC. The Puppet Team presents the Gospel message in a very unique way! Gina Millsaps and her team of leaders do wonderful work as they strive to not only bring the gospel message to both adults and children but to Spiritually enrich the lives of the ministry group.
